The Homestretch

Even though we are 2 days from home, this has been the busiest day thus far. Sean and Caroline had to break down nine incubation experiments. For every experiment, Julia, Maureen and I filtered, Liza performed radioisotope experiments and Sean had to perform settling column filtrations. In addition to the filtering, there were many chlorophyll readings from the previous day's incubation break down. I was able to perform the readings when Julia and Maureen filtered the samples.

The radiation van before it was broken down. The radiation van was used for radioisotope work. With rough seas and heavy fog, this was the hardest place to work. At the end of the day, Amy decided to have all science members participate in a ping-pong tournament. I was ousted in the second round by Liza. I finished my day by organizing my photos, notes and personal logbook.
