Packing Up

Well, we have finished our job of collecting midshipmen fish samples. I can't believe we are at the end of this experience. I have a new respect for scientists as I see how hard they work all in the name of science. It was a rewarding opportunity working with Dr. Sisneros and his team of student researchers. I spent the day gathering my things and packing my suitcase. I went over to Dr. Sisneros's cabin and spent the time talking with Andrew. He told me that he and Dr. Joe would be staying another week so they could finalize the data and pack up all of their equipment. Andrew was very helpful in explaining how the equipment worked and the details of the research project. This evening the whole team gathered for our final dinner together and we all said our goodbyes.
