Preparing to Arrive

Today we had a short drill on life board usage. Following the drill crew leaders talked about the end of the trip and the necessity to pack and prepare. All areas must be packed and cleaned before arrival. No one will be allowed to leave ship until all research items and collections are properly stored and removed from the ship when she docks. Many are making plans for arrival and touring of New Zealand. Should arrive early the 27th. Seas are still heavy so activity outside is limited. The foredeck areas are all secured as large waves continue to come over the front of the ship.
