Research Experience: Geologic Controls of Microbial Distribution in Deepsea Sediments (R/V KNORR)
Research Objectives: To collect sediment cores along the equator in the central equatorial Pacific Ocean with the new deep coring system. the overarching goal of the project is to determine the principal controls on the maginitude and geographic distribution of subseafloor microbial abundance.
